LMI is sending teams monthly in response to the needs of Jamaicans in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.  Skilled and unskilled laborers are needed. Our teams operate chainsaws, clear debris, perform home and building clean-outs, and help distribute food, building, and relief supplies. “Ministers of kindness” are also needed to listen to people’s stories and encourage them through prayer and hugs. Funds are needed for chainsaws, building and relief supplies (i.e. solar lights & water filters). As always, 100% of donations given will be used for this project. When traveling to Jamaica, your passport book must be valid for the duration of your stay. 

Join this 9 day outreach in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia. LMI will be serving with a Presbyterian Church in a Muslim community. We will help with a Christian camp for Kyrgi church kids (age 3-15) and provide ministry to their families. The languages spoken are Russian and Kyrgi. Russian speakers are needed.  When traveling to Kyrgyzstan, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry. 

Minister to the people on the remote Island of Mayreau in the southern Caribbean. Hurricane Beryl devastated Mayreau, one of the small islands of the nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, in the summer of 2024, leaving 90% of homes either damaged or destroyed. LMI conducts an annual outreach to the people of Mayreau, working in partnership with YWAM St. Vincent to help rebuild and bring hope to the islanders. Alongside the physical restoration of buildings, our team will minister to locals through prayer, encouragement, and the love of Christ.  To travel to Mayreau, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry. 

LMI continues to send teams to the flood victims in the Texas Hill Country.. Volunteers, skilled and unskilled, are needed for brush and debris removal, home clean-outs, and repairs alongside skilled carpenters and roofers. 

Minister alongside experienced missionaries to the counter-culture on the streets of Portland.  Learn evangelism skills and how to minister to the homeless, broken and lonely through coffee outreach, prayer walks and homeless ministry.

Join LMI to the south TX  border over the Thanksgiving break. This outreach is perfect for families.  Students ages 13+ are welcome with parents’ permission, who want to have an introduction to missions. Grow in your relationship with God and others as we reach out to those in need. We will be working alongside local Rio Grande Churches to minister to immigrant families.  We will also be doing service projects, distributing food and hygiene supplies, and other opportunities. IMPACT Youth Nights,  the 4th Monday of every month are geared towards a community of kids ages 13-18 who want to grow closer to God. We have a meal,  worship, study the Bible to learn how we can be a follower of Jesus and be a strong example with  their peers. LMI staff mentor the kids in leading discussions and Bible, leading worship and presenting ice-breaker games to keep it fun. A meal is available at 6:00 and the program begins  at 6:30.

Meet at the LMI headquarters and join in with others to serve in the Lindale community. Grow in your faith and ability to pray, to listen and encourage your peers and others. The cost is free. Bring a hug, a smile and a heart to have fun serving others.

Join with East Texas teens in a 5 day camp filled with activities of service to God and others. Starting with worship and Bible devos and team building games we will break into multi-generational teams to do a variety of projects involving yard work, food prep and distro, visiting the elderly and shut-ins to bring encouragement and hope.  Youth will experience personal growth while serving others and deepening their faith. Snacks are provided. Bring your lunch.
